Position: SEN Teacher
Salary Range: £120- £180 per day
Location: REDRUTH
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:

  • Utilise expertise to create personalized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
  • Provide tailored instruction and support to students with various learning difficulties (e.g., autism, dyslexia, ADHD).
  • Work with professionals like educational psychologists and speech therapists to develop comprehensive support strategies.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching methods and resources accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN teaching.
  • Understanding: Strong grasp of various learning difficulties and effective support strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Personal Qualities: Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome barriers.
  • Priority Consideration: Previous experience and candidates with a valid driving license and access to a vehicle.

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
