An opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced Band 5 Speech & Language Therapist to join our innovative community based team working across Coventry.
The service is delivered in a variety of settings; nursery, mainstream and special schools and also in the city centre clinic.
The Children's Speech & Language Therapy Team aims to provide a high quality service to children, young people and their families.
We have developed clinical pathways and a competency programme in Speech, Language, Voice, Fluency, Dysphagia, Hearing Impairment, Cleft Palate, Alternative & Augmentative Communication and young children "At Risk" of SLCN.
We are committed to professional development and evidence based practice, offering regular in-service CPD days and peer group / one to one clinical supervision.
Being a member of a large Speech and Language Therapy team of SLTs and Assistants and close working with Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy colleagues gives opportunities for lots of different clinical and training experiences.
CWPT are exploring rotations within our Mental Health and Learning Disabilities & Autism directorates and with system partners for adult therapy.
