We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Marketing Manager to join a prominent Tour Operator located in their dynamic Birmingham office (hybrid working possible).

The role involves supervising all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities for the business, creating and maintaining marketing strategies to achieve company objectives, analyzing customer research, market conditions, and competitor data, and making necessary adjustments to the marketing plan.

As an experienced Marketing expert, you will lead and inspire your team, utilizing your creativity, business insight, and comprehensive marketing knowledge to enhance our client's brand presence and launch successful marketing campaigns across online and traditional media platforms.

In return, an attractive starting salary of up to £40k plus great company perks and travel industry benefits are on offer.

Role of Marketing Manager:

  • Managing all marketing activities for the company and the marketing department
  • Developing the company's marketing plan aligned with company goals
  • Creating and distributing all marketing material following the marketing plans
  • Planning and executing promotional campaigns for new and current products
  • Full accountability for brand management and corporate identity
  • Supervising the creation of online e-shots in collaboration with product, aviation, and marketing departments for all brands
  • Evaluating potential partnerships for company marketing strategies
  • Crafting newsletters for all brand portfolios
  • Developing and releasing trade press, PR materials, and advertisements
  • Direct oversight of all online and offline marketing channels, including PPC, SEO, display, Metasearch, Affiliate content, and web design.

Skills required for the role:

  • Relevant marketing background with experience in strategy development and both online and offline campaigns
  • Ideally, prior management experience with good leadership capabilities
  • Strong business acumen
  • Creative with excellent copywriting and design abilities
  • Proficient in SEO, Eshots, Social Media, HTML/CSS, and other design tools
  • Beneficial to have a solid understanding of the travel industry
