As part of a small team of content creators, the Copywriter will write and edit content for a variety of training projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the client and training team members to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging.

What are the key responsibilities of a Copywriter:

  • Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and training materials.
  • To ensure that all copy is delivered inline with Samsung brand guidelines, tone of voice and strategies from the TV/AV Division.
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal stakeholders and the client when requested.
  • Engage Samsung TVAV target audiences through internal HQ direction, research, and implementation of related insights.
  • Critique own work, revise copy based on internal and client feedback.
  • Timeline management for visibility and effective delivery of projects.
  • Proofread and refine internal communication materials.
  • Assistance on other team projects that fall outside the initial scope will be requested when and where needed.

As a successful Copywriter you will have:

  • Professional copywriting experience, with a solid portfolio of work
  • Experience of pitching creative concepts at a professional level to gain 'buyin'.
  • A track record of translating insights into 'reasons to believe'.
  • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.
  • Business awareness to demonstrate Return on Investment through reporting of projects on a monthly basis.
  • The ability to projectmanage multiple activities and workloads to an efficient and orderly standard.
  • The ability to adhere to wordcount limitations without losing messaging impact.
  • Excellent social media skills with experience using existing platforms this would include understanding how to tailor language to engage audiences on Workplace, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
  • Excellent IT skills, including extensive use of wordprocessing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint documents, plus live collaborative tools such as Teams.
