We are recruiting for a Goods Return / Warehouse Operative to join our team of successful and highly motivated individuals.

Working as a Goods Return / Warehouse Operative in our premium 50,000 square foot multi-level warehouse is the ideal way to start your career with Lookers - one of the UK's top automotive retailers With full training provided as well as a mentoring system in operation, our Parts Distribution hub offers endless opportunities for progression and personal development.


The main duties of this role include:

  • Dealing with all returns, ensuring they meet our returns guidelines and liaising with the customers to check if they want a re-delivery or if the parts should be booked back in to stock
  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed for all returns
  • Maintaining an exceptional level of accuracy in relation to stock checks and stock movement through our internal systems
  • Raising all necessary paperwork for all Good Returns and Deliveries
  • Ensuring all invoices / bills are raised and allocated against Returns / Orders
  • Being flexible and adaptable in order to help / support other departments within the Warehouse

Working hours: 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays as O/T. (Permanent, full-time)

We're looking for someone who has worked in a warehouse environment and has experience of handling and organising parts. You must have a high level of accuracy and be computer literate, with strong administration skills.

You'll have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and you'll be at ease communicating with suppliers and colleagues across the Lookers group.


Experience with a computerised stock management system and knowledge of Kerridge / ADP is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Due to the nature of the role, a Forklift Licence is desired - training can be given to obtain your licence if you do not currently have one.
