Warehouse Operative

Cantello Tayler Recruitment is currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their client located in Finchampstead, Berkshire. To excel in this role, it is essential for the candidate to be a driver.

Key Responsibilities:
- Aiding in the daily selection of orders, labeling, packaging, and shipping to customers.
- Assisting the Van driver in loading and unloading the vehicle as needed.
- Participating in unloading Sea container shipments, ensuring proper storage in the warehouse with attention to stock management.
- Contributing to stock takes when necessary.
- Ensuring effective stock rotation and conducting quality checks on product date and durability.
- Sustaining a hygienic and secure work environment throughout the day.
- Promptly informing Management of any product or equipment damages.
- Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor in order processing and general tasks.

Requirements:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in Warehouse/stock room operations - preferred.
- Familiarity with pallet building - advantageous.
- Strong punctuality.
- Organized and dedicated.
- Professional demeanor.
