Job summary

Anexciting opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Administrator post within WorcesterNeighbourhood based at Warndon Clinic [WR4 9PA].

Wehave part-time hours available to work within our team including being part ofa Bank Holiday and weekend rota system alongside the other administratorswithin the Team.

Our Warndon Base is a Single Point of Accessreferral hub for our two Neighbourhood Teams Riverside and Cityside. Wecontinuously look to improve and develop as the demand for the service wedeliver changes. We are seeking toappoint a Band 3 administrator to support the team consisting of handlingtelephone calls from UCR, Community Nurses, Physiotherapist, OccupationalTherapists, Healthcare Assistants and Administrators working with GPs andother agencies to provide excellent quality care to our patients.

This will include managing our new ONPOS[Patient dressing ordering system]

This role also involves supporting juniorstaff and reports from our Emis system.

Main duties of the job

This is a busy service and your main role willbe to be the first point of contact for patient telephone calls. You will needto take messages clearly and deal with information that is both confidentialand sensitive and occasionally distressing in nature. You will also support the wider team withadministration tasks including supporting on our Electronic Patient RecordSystem EMIS.

You will also be taking calls and dealing withclinical team members including paramedics and supporting them with sharing ofpatient information and use of information technology.

This will include managing our new ONPOS[Patient dressing ordering system]

This role also involves supporting juniorstaff and reports from our Emis system.

You will provide a full range ofadministrative support to the whole team. You must have excellentcommunication, organisational and IT skills.

Educated to academic Level 3 ( A-Level, NVQ3, OCR/RSA3, City and Guilds 3) in a Business/ Administration related subject or Educated to academic Level 2 ( GCSE Grade A-C) with considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer
