Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable
  • Assist with monthend closing activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues and inquiries
  • Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain accounting databases
  • Assist with other accounting duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
  • Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills to review and analyze financial data
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Knowledge of HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders
