Singing Princess for Children's Parties

DBA Events (Formally DBA Theatre) are after performers who can act, sing and move to join our team of singing princesses and other magical characters.

Work is mainly during the weekends in Coventry, Warwickshire, Birmingham, Leicestershire across the West Midlands. We have ad hoc work and set weekend work at set venues available.

We have extremely high standards and we only take on the very best.

Not only do you have to look and impersonate a magical fairy tale character, you also have to be able to entertain 25-30 excitable children, sometimes more, at a time.

And the most important attribute we are looking for. reliability.


We are looking for entertainers who can commit to parties up to two months in advance and be able to pick up last minute shift or cover if someone is off ill.

Especially during covid times We are only looking for reliable entertainers and entertainers who are available most weekends.

Ideally, you need to have your own car and be comfortable driving up to 2 hours
However, some characters car share for most parties Some of my team don't drive, so its not a necessity.

So if you can commit & this job sounds ideal, then let me tell you a little bit more about the job:
We provide anything from 30 minutes - 2 hour parties at the weekend for children. They are usually aged between 3-8 although we cater for all.

As an entertainer you have to hold your own in a party and entertain up to a maximum of 25 children at one time.

Parents don't help, they just sit back, relax and enjoy watching It is a tough job, very energetic, very much in character role and very much about you controlling all the games and doing all the activities in the parties but also very rewarding.

We provide all training of the games and how to run our parties. We also provide all the materials you use in every party such as the sound system and gifts. The costumes and wigs are also ours we lend out to you.

We also want you to be as characterized as possible, this includes American accents and character portrayal. Again this can be given on training as well as makeup looks.
