Responsibilities
The role will support the Partners in London and across all offices when required. You will be actively involved in business development internally and externally and the role includes the following:
Employers
Dealing with companies in various sectors as follows:
- Dismissals and redundancies
- Corporate restructuring and boardroom disputes
- Restrictive covenants and protecting confidential information
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Discrimination
- Settlement agreements
- Employment contracts and policies
- International work
- Industrial relations
- Business and human rights
- Strategic HR planning including gender pay gap reporting
Employees
Dealing with Senior Executives in the following matters:
- Negotiating exits and terms of departure
- Settlement agreement negotiations
- Employment contracts, service agreements and LLP agreements
- Disciplinary and grievance advice
- Advising rights on restructure or redundancy
- Employment tribunal claims
- Sexual harassment complaints and allegations
- Board and partnership disputes
- Share options, bonus disputes and pay negotiations
Requirements
- A qualified solicitor with 4-6 Years PQE in Employment law
- Experience gained in a highly regarded firm
- Proven experience advising Employers and Senior Executive matters.
- Experience in making a profitable contribution to a team
- Experience in the delivery of exceptional service levels to all clients at all times.
- Proven experience and keen interest in business development activities
