Depot Engineer - Tamworth - Generators and Compressors - Monday to Friday : hours per week

Are you a skilled Service Engineer looking for a new challenge? If you have a strong mechanical background in diesel engines, fault diagnosis and repair we want to hear from you

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our generators ranging from kva and a number of these machines are fitted with telematics and are fully syncable using Comap or Depp sea panels.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned service maintenance and repair of compressors and generators ranging from kva
  • Fault-finding, replacing parts, effecting repairs and diagnosing mechanical failures
  • Liaise with external departments and customers
  • Service, fault find and carry out repairs
  • Comply with companies Health and Safety policy

What you'll need:

  • Full driving licence
  • Good knowledge of diesel engines
  • Mechanically you will be experienced in fault-finding, replacing parts, effecting repairs and diagnosing mechanical failures
  • Experience of maintaining and repairing the same or similar types of equipment
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to hours as there is consistent overtime
  • Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
