Our client, a well established and reputable Civil Engineering Contractor with an annual turnover of £100 million, are looking to recruit a General Foreperson to join their civil engineering team on a permanent basis in Ellesmere Port.

A recent run of successfulproject wins in the North of England has resulted in them looking to expand and grow their existing team in order to deliver the additional workload.

As the General Foreperson covering projects largely across Ellesmere Port and the North of England, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the company in the region.

The General Foreperson role involves managing all site operations, working withcontractors, sub contractors and suppliers to ensure that high quality work is delivered at all times

Essential requirements:

• Experience of managing all operational activities on site.
• Experience of keeping site diaries.
• Previous experience delivering all health & safety and quality procedures.
• Previous experience working with a civil engineering contractor.
• Experience of delivering projects on time and to budget.
• Proven experience of effectively communicating with on site staff, sub contractors and management.
