Qualification -

- Hold a degree and/or a Vocational related qualification in the subject area (essential)
- Hold GCSE A* - C / 9 - 4 in English or equivalent (essential)
- Hold GCSE A* - C / 9 - 4 in Math's or equivalent (essential)
- Hold Assessors qualifications (desirable) or willingness to achieve
- Hold IQA qualifications (desirable) or willingness to achieve
- Hold a teaching qualification (desirable) or willingness to achieve within 2 years - Supervision qualification/evidence of competency and a minimum Level 4 Counselling qualification is needed to teach the Counselling course

Manchester Adult Education (MAES) has an exciting opportunity for a passionate industry expert to join our Vocational and Employer Responsive team as a Lecturer. The role will involve the planning, delivery, assessment and moderation of part-time adult courses from Level's 1 to 4.

Courses within the curriculum area:

Health & Social Care/Adult Social Care
- Early Years/Education/STLS
- Health and Well-Being pathways (Mental Health, Well-being, Counselling)
- Team leading/Mentoring/Leadership
- Professional development pathways such as; Supporting Individuals with Learning Difficulties, Supporting Behaviour, Mental Health Awareness and Substance Misuse
- Apprenticeship from September 2024

This role will involve the planning, delivery, assessment and moderation of Counselling, Leadership and Management and Teaching Assistant/Early Years courses, therefore requires subject competency.
