Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a dynamic Lead Occupational Therapist to join our client's therapy team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Occupational Therapy team to ensure the effective delivery of our Occupational Therapy programme and individual patient and family support.

Ensure thorough understanding and implementation of the Occupational Therapy Pathway
Conduct and supervise a range of occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and group work sessions.
Collaborate with patients to identify occupational therapy goals as part of their care plan.
Maintain up-to-date electronic records and activity data in accordance with professional and policies.
Establish effective communication networks with patients, carers, team members, and other relevant parties.
Oversee the participation of Occupational Therapy team members in multi-disciplinary decision-making processes regarding patient care.
Adapt professionally to variable job demands and environments, showing respect for patient individuality and diversity.
Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with relevant regulations and policies.
Maintain professional boundaries and support colleagues in doing the same.
Pursue continuous professional development through internal and external learning opportunities.
Reflect on personal practice and performance through supervision and appraisal processes.
Identify learning needs and pursue relevant training opportunities.
Participate in the education and training of colleagues and students as required.
Comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
Provide input into the review of documents as requested by the Quality Assurance lead.
Delegate tasks appropriately within the Occupational Therapy team and provide support and training as needed.
Provide clinical supervision to junior colleagues and conduct annual appraisals.
Develop an annual occupational therapy development plan for submission to the leadership team.
Contribute to Clinical Governance arrangements and quality agenda.
Review and authorise annual leave requests and expense submissions from the OT team.
Contribute to Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, and Department team meetings.
Experience working as a Senior Occupational Therapist in mental health and/or CAMHS.
Knowledge of current best practice in occupational therapy in eating disorders.
Ability to reflect and critically appraise own performance and the performance of the OT team.
Ability to keep accurate, up to date clinical records and statistics.
Understanding of national guidelines and legislation related to health and social care.
Understanding of equality and diversity issues.
