Our client, a well-established and successful independent financial planning firm, is in search of a dynamic and motivated financial planner to join their team.

Due to their sustained growth and achievements, the firm can offer the selected candidate a consistent stream of client leads, along with administrative support. With a steady flow of leads, the firm anticipates the new team member to generate significant business within the initial 12 months. Importantly, all new business fees and ongoing business fees will contribute to the bonus target.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with potential clients regularly, delivering a superior level of service and conducting meetings according to company guidelines. Clearly outline the ongoing services desired by clients.
  • Create and pursue a pipeline to meet predetermined business objectives. Timely follow up on all provided leads and update the company on progress as necessary.
  • Operate in full compliance, ensuring exceptional customer service and strict adherence to FCA regulations.
  • Utilize research resources for tailored client advice, maintain updated client files, and produce reports conforming to company standards.
  • Efficiently communicate with the back-office, compliance, and management teams, providing clear and accountable information consistently.
  • Show a dedication to professional growth and enhance technical expertise in specialized advice areas.

About You:

  • Hold at least a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice, acquired through CII, CISI, or LIBF.
  • Preferably possess Level 6 / Chartered status.
  • Demonstrate confidence, authenticity, and charisma, with exceptional sales and presentation abilities. Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Display drive and motivation to surpass business targets, coupled with traits like hard work, enthusiasm, passion, focus, and articulacy. Uphold high moral, ethical, and professional standards in all endeavors.
  • Show eagerness to advance your career, willing to pursue further education and training opportunities.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of financial planning aspects such as investments, pensions, protection, retirement options, and tax planning. Ability to research, analyze, and interpret diverse information is crucial.
  • Capable of building and sustaining long-lasting client relationships, both independently and within a team.
  • Exhibit strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills. Proficient in conveying complex information to individuals with varying levels of understanding.
