The Role of Community Outreach Manager
  • Manage a team to deliver Community Outreach projects in Greater Manchester, such as Premier League Kicks, City Girls, Soccer Schools, and more.
  • Build relationships with internal and external partners to expand the reach of the programs.
  • Report on program outcomes and manage related KPIs to ensure success.
  • Develop and implement the Community Outreach strategy to meet community needs and ensure program sustainability.
  • Provide feedback and training to improve team performance and program delivery.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Essential
  • Understanding of City in the Community Foundation and its projects.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of coaching community-based programs, including youth work and volunteering.
  • Experience working with schools, community organizations, and funding partners.
  • Budget Management and team management experience.
  • Experience in a brand environment and representing a Premier League Football Club.
  • GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, resilient, and adaptable.
  • Strong team-working abilities.
Desirable
  • Degree level education.
  • Coaching Level 2 qualification in another sport.
  • Knowledge of Youth Work theories and practice.
  • Experience with mentoring, youth engagement, or disability programs.
  • Remote line management skills, presentation skills, and delivering CPD sessions.
