Portering Services are looking for a motivated individual to join their small and friendly team.

As a Departmental Porter your role will be physically demanding but, rewarding, challenging and a job that makes a real difference to our patient experience and the smooth running of our services.

On a daily basis you will be using our on-site electrical vehicles for deliveries and collection of of waste, delivering pharmacy items, transporting medical instruments and gas cylinders.

You will also be walking long distances at times.

The working hours for this post are Monday - Friday, where we offer an outstanding benefits package alongside an hourly rate of £11.45 per hour.

If you you were required to work outside of these hours the following would apply, with enhancements for shifts worked at weekends, bank holidays and nights (Enhanced Hourly Rate £ pm - 6am/Saturday; Enhanced Hourly Rate Sunday £23.47)
