Key
Responsibilities
STORE OPERATIONS
- Maintain organised and tidy the cash desks within the store at all times
- Process sales, exchanges and refunds efficiently, accurately and quickly in all payment methods (cash, credit card, gift/ voucher card, employee discount, evoucher)
- Ensure complete efficiency when following opening and closing cash desk procedures
SECURITY PROCEDURES
- Monitor, record and resolve till discrepancies in the store, using the Discrepancy Record and report them to the AMT Department
- Follow up, monitor and ensure cash desk activities and cash desks are running efficiently and are in good working order and maintained regularly
- Monitor the level of change in the safe and report to DY OPS for orders.
TEAM ORGANISATION AND TRAINING
- Train and develop all Cashiers team and follow up their performance
- Train and update the team regularly on new systems, payment methods and security aspects.
- Promote HR Policies and Procedures and the Code of Conduct in the store by sharing information with the team and leading by example.
- Ensure effective communication with the store's Management Team.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Ensure that customers are acknowledged and receive a quality service
- Motivating the team to offer a positive customer experience in the store, while leading by example.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy.
- To be an ambassador in the company's sustainability project and ensure that the company upholds and works towards finding new, innovative and economically reductive ways to stay sustainable.
Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrated cash desk experience within INDITEX, or cash handling experience within the retail sector.
- Knowledge of cash desk transactions and operating systems
- Basic knowledge and understanding of UK Employment Law
