Job Role
Are you a chef seeking a rewarding temporary role in an educational setting? We are looking for a chef to handle lunch service at a junior school in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire. This is an ideal role for chefs who thrive in busy environments and are looking for a daytime schedule.

Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00-14:00, with a possible extension to 7 hours per shift
Pay Rate: £18-£19 per hour
Start Date: 10th June 2024, for a period of 3 weeks

The School
Located in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire, the school is dedicated to providing an enriching educational experience, promoting both academic success and personal development in a supportive community atmosphere. It is committed to excellence in education, helping students achieve their potential.

What is the Role:
The chef will manage the preparation and cooking of daily lunch services. This includes ensuring meals are prepared on time, and adhering to all dietary requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Proficient in school lunchtime kitchen operations
- Able to work effectively under time constraints
- Familiar with food safety and hygiene standards
- Requires an enhanced DBS check (assistance available if needed)
- Should be local to Quedgeley or have reliable transport
