We are an established business UK wide and due to continued success, we are expanding all aspects of our services including virtual delivery.


Role Overview

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To manage a caseload of students providing impartial information, advice and guidance that allows them to make informed career choices.
  • To provide advice and guidance to students in person and using virtual platforms e.g Microsoft Teams and Google Meet.
  • To produce tailored careers action plans for each student.
  • To establish good relationships with Careers Leaders and other relevant staff in partner schools.
  • Develop positive relationships with external partners ensuring strong ties to the community and up to date LMI.
  • Actively seek training opportunities keeping up to date with statutory changes.
  • Provide up to date information using a wide variety of platforms to students, parents and staff.
  • To deliver current and accurate careers information through a variety of mediums not limited to but to include one to one interviews, assemblies, workshops and social media
  • To attend CPD opportunities and make an active effort to stay uptodate in the latest CEIAG developments.

Person Specification

  • The applicant must have a confident and personable manner.
  • Must be IT literate and confident using a range of databases and programmes including Microsoft Office 365 and Google Drive.
  • Must have excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Must adopt a methodical and strategic approach to managing workload.
  • Must have good attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be proficient at building strong working relationships with partners
  • Must have good written communication skills (grammar and spelling)

Personal qualities

  • Must be adaptable and flexible: to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be professional and adopt a productive and positive work ethic.
  • Must adopt a positive attitude and energy and relate well with students.

Education:

Level 6 Careers Advice and Guidance Qualification is essential due to School requirements

Additional Information


Mandatory DBS checks will be undertaken, the dress code will be smart and own IT equipment is necessary to perform this role.
