GLL is seeking an Assistant Manager based at Penrith Leisure Centre

Salary: up to £32,618.58 per annum

As an Assistant Manager, no two days are the same. That's what makes this hands-on role so unique. Your responsibilities will include aiding in the daily operations of the venue, guiding Duty Managers, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, conducting audits, assisting with large events, motivating your team, and much more.

To excel as an Assistant Manager, you must be proficient in all aspects of venue management - from team oversight to market trends. If you're ready to put in the extra effort, we'll provide the necessary training to enhance your skills in this multifaceted role.

We're looking for a highly organized individual with a proactive attitude, a quick learner with a customer-centric focus. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for building connections with customers, colleagues, and contractors. Experience in venue operations management and a proven track record of overseeing a bustling venue are also key.

This role will require shift work and working on bank holidays.
