About The Role:

We have a vacancy for a Yard Operative to join our team based in Aberdeen

No experience required as full training will be provided

Main Duties:

  • Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored correctly
  • Collection of waste bins and loading them into compactor equipment
  • Cleaning of internal service areas
  • Pressure washing
  • Weed pulling (seasonal)
  • Salting of walkways (seasonal)
  • General labouring tasks
  • Element of heavy lifting as and when required
  • Ensuring correct segregation of recycled waste plastic, cardboard, metals, and wood assisting to maintain site sustainability KPI

You'll need:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team
  • To be motivated, reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
  • Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessary
  • Good communication skills
