A successful and well-established industrial materials business based in Bedford are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Worker to join their busy team.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and despatching products in an industrial warehouse setting.

Duties will include:

  • Manual handling of metals and industrial metals
  • Operating a counterbalance Forklift Truck
  • Occasional driving of company vehicles to deliver products to customers
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working as part of a team and carrying out other duties as and when required to assist other departments when needed

Requirements / Previous Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse
  • Ability to manually handle and move goods safely up to 25kg and above (with assistance)
  • Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driving experience within an industrial warehouse environment is essential
  • Current or recent Forklift Truck Licence is essential (refresher training can be provided if licence has recently expired)
  • Valid, clean UK driving licence (minor points accepted)
