The Role

In this role, youwill play a key part in developing and managing a variety of webprojects. Leading a team of two developers, you will ensureprojects are executed successfully from conception to deployment.Your expertise in Laravel, React (NextJS), and PHP will beessential.

Responsibilities
  • Leadand manage the web development team, providing guidance andsupport.
  • Plan, organise, and prioritisedevelopment tasks and projects.
  • Develop andmaintain multiple web applications using Laravel and React(NextJS).
  • Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to define, design, and launch newfeatures.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure highstandards of code quality.
  • Implement basicDevOps tasks, including deployment and server management with AWSand Laravel Forge.
  • Ensure effective databasemanagement and optimisation with Postgres andMariaDB.
Requirements
  • Provenexperience with Laravel and React(NextJS).
  • Strong understanding of webdevelopment principles and bestpractices.
  • Experience with AWS and LaravelForge.
  • Proficiency with Postgres and/or MariaDBdatabases.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solvingabilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability towork independently and as part of a team in a fast-pacedenvironment.
DesirableSkills:
  • Experience with otherJavaScript frameworks andlibraries.
  • Familiarity with front-endtechnologies such as HTML, CSS, andJavaScript.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelinesandautomation.
