Our client is a rapidly growing online Menswear brand based in central Manchester, they are now looking to recruit an Assistant Merchandiser to join their growing team and contribute to the huge growth.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in Merchandising for an online fashion brand and ideally some wholesale and import experience.
this brand is stocked on Foot Asylum and JD Sports. This really is a great opportunity to work for a growing online menswear brand and amazing team.The Role:
- Support in developing and executing seasonal assortment plans for collections.
- Use data to optimise the sales volume and profitability of product.
- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing overstock or stockouts.
- Generate and analyze reports to track sell-through rates and recommend action plans.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to facilitate smooth order fulfillment.
- Assist in pricing strategies and markdown plans, ensuring competitive pricing while maximizing profitability.
- Assist in the development of sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and promotional activities.
- Monitor actual sales performance against forecasts and adjust plans accordingly.
- Regularly review and update pricing information on the online platform.
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior.
- Coordinate sample management, including receiving and organizing samples for product launches, photo shoots, and presentations.
- Ensure samples are in line with design specifications and quality standards.

Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Buying or a related field.
- Previous experience in a merchandising or assistant merchandising role is preferred for online brand .
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and trends in online menswear fashion.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
