One the UK's leading challenger banks are looking to grow their Treasury team with the addition of a new front office hire. The role entails supporting the Treasurer and the Head of Treasury Markets with execution of transactions to manage the balance sheet within the Bank's risk parameters. This role is based in the City of London but offers hybrid working.

Role Description
  • Management and development of the investment strategy for Treasury's HQLA portfolios
  • Monitor portfolio performance and providing regular market updates and MI to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Perform stress testing for the various asset classes within the portfolio
  • Assisting with the production of the Bank's ILAAP, ICAAP and RRP
  • Create reports on the capital and liquidity impacts of investment decisions
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with external counterparties
  • Work closely with the Risk function to ensure risk appetite is correctly managed
  • Involvement with ad-hoc projects across the department
Role Requirements
  • Degree educated in a quantitative field
  • Experience in credit modelling and analysis of relevant Fixed Income markets
  • Good understanding of macroeconomic drivers and their impact on market and credit risks
  • Experience of money markets and repo markets helpful
  • The ability to explain complex topics to a broad audience
  • A keen interest in data and analysis (VBA, SQL or Python knowledge helpful)
