As OCU Group continues to grow and develop, an opportunity has arisen in our Marketing and Communications function to meet the increase in demand for high-quality communication both internally and externally.

Due to this growth, we now need to enhance and widen the communication function and the way we disseminate information and messages internally and externally.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Producing content, performing research and undertaking interviews to gain valuable insight from our experts and senior people.
  • Proofing and editing of other Marketing and Communications work when required.
  • Travelling when required to our various depot/office locations on occasion to gain insight from our experts/specialists or to undertake detailed information gathering.
  • Speaking to both white and blue collar project staff on site, building both succinct and indepth case studies of our projects and contracts.
  • Producing a variety of shortform and longform written prose, to include but not limited to; Social Media Posts, Brochures, Website/Magazine Articles, Interview Q and A's, Case Studies, Press Releases and Internal Communications.
  • Working closely with the Group Marketing and Communications Manager and Support Services Director daily.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous writing experience is essential as we are looking for someone who can deliver multiple forms of writing that are required by the business.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present at all levels.
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills and the capability to produce highquality work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage expectations.
  • Exemplary attention to written detail.
  • A motivated selfstarter that can use their initiative and isn't afraid to think outside the box.
  • Full UK drivers licence.
