We are seeking skilled Prototype Automotive Electricians to join a leading vehicle manufacturer. Responsibilities include manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and installing various electrical components on prototype vehicles.

• Supporting a variety of electrical/instrumentation tasks with different unit under test (UUT's) using an array of equipment and sensors.
• Diagnosing electrical issues, conducting fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring within the test environment.
• Managing the service, calibration, inspection, and inventory of wiring, sensors, and measurement devices.
• Executing Instrumentation functions such as dismantling, building, and adding points to vehicle parts.
• Performing welding, silver soldering, and fabrication on vehicle parts.
• Contributing to the design, development, and documentation of electrical installations within the Test Field.
• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Motor Vehicle Engineering.
• PHEV qualified (minimum IMI level 2).
• Experience in the Automotive Vehicle Manufacturing Industry.
• Proven background as an automotive electrician with mechanical skills.
• Experience in welding, soldering, machining, and fabrication.
• Working experience with EV and PHEV Vehicles during Prototype stages.
• Experience with various small-scale cable and connector types.
• Ability to troubleshoot based on electrical drawings and schematics.
• Adherence to company quality and housekeeping standards.
• Valid UK Driving Licence or equivalent.
