Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Trainee Piercer.

This position offers a unique opportunity for an individual interested in body piercing to receive comprehensive training over a 2-week course at no charge, with the potential for a permanent position upon successful completion of the training program.

This position may be offered at one of our other studios in the North East dependant on business needs.

The Trainee Piercer will work closely with experienced professionals to learn the art and techniques of body piercing while ensuring the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Training and Development:

• Participate in a structured 2
• week training program led by experienced piercers.
• Learn proper techniques for various types of piercings including ear, nose, lip, eyebrow, and body piercings.
• Understand and adhere to strict safety and hygiene protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Customer Service:

• Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate jewellery and providing aftercare instructions.
• Address customer concerns or inquiries with confidence and professionalism.

Assistance in Piercing Procedures:

• Observe and assist experienced piercers during piercing procedures.
• Learn how to prepare piercing equipment and maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Gain handson experience in piercing techniques under supervision.

Maintaining Hygiene and Safety Standards:

• Follow strict sterilization procedures for piercing equipment and jewelry.
• Maintain cleanliness of the piercing studio and ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Comply with health and safety regulations to prevent infections and ensure client safety.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

• Assist in maintaining accurate records of client consultations, consent forms, and aftercare instructions.
• Learn how to effectively use computerised systems for scheduling appointments and managing client information.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in body piercing and the willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
