9 month FTC / Secondment - Manager, D&I Initiatives and Talent Integration

What is the opportunity?

Reporting to the Director, Talent Integration UK & Channel Islands and D&I Europe, the incumbent will focus on delivering strategic talent initiatives across Capital Markets, Technology, Functions and Wealth Management International.

What will you do?

The Manager, D&I Initiatives & Talent Integration is responsible for enabling and supporting in flights and new initiatives across the British Isles and Europe including:

  • Support or lead on diversity and inclusion initiatives for the UK, Channel Islands and Europe
    • Ensure D&I is captured in talent strategies and reporting across platforms and regions
    • Calendar management
    • Review and oversight of suggested initiatives
    • Review of communications relating to D&I
    • Secretary for Regional platform D&I Forums
    • Local representative for the roll out of global initiatives: IWD, Pride, Pink Day, BHM etc
    • Management of the Employee Resource Groups across the UK and Channel Islands
    • Management and maintenance of external partners, vendors and suppliers
    • Seek out leading trends and market knowledge to understand alternative approaches and solutions
    • Provide metrics, analysis and reporting for senior manager audience
    • Collect data both internal and external on D&I activities and initiatives. Makes recommendations on areas of opportunity within the region
    • Budget management and invoice approval for D&I initiatives
    • Review training initiatives
    • Support benchmarking initiatives population, analysis and enhancement in the region (working families, Refinitiv D&I index, Bloomberg Gender Equality Index, CityHR)
    • Stays on top of new legislative requirements and supports the implementation of new requirements
    • Representatives the talent integration team by attending committee meetings, talks, social events etc as required
    • Manage the D&I connect site ensuring up to date and relevant content is available to all regional HR staff.
  • Support UK focussed talent initiatives relating to conduct & culture
    • Manage the European D&I Connect site ensuring up to date and relevant content is available to all regional HR staff
    • Lead smaller initiatives implementation
    • Support UK HR engagement activities including townhalls, demo days etc.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Solid experience in supporting small / medium, complex programs / initiatives with a bias to action
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills
  • Track record of managing multiple competing projects and deliverables
  • Sound relationship management skills
  • Previous experience supporting Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
  • Proven project management/ coordination skills
  • Ability to influence colleagues' and stakeholders' decisions utilizing their HR knowledge and expertise.
