About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our Vice Chancellors Office Team. You will provide comprehensive, proactive and professional executive support for our Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), working closely with the wider team in the Vice Chancellors Office to ensure an effective and efficient, customer-focussed service to support our strategic priorities.

Experienced in complex diary management, you will also have previous experience of acting as Secretary to Executive Level committees. An excellent communicator, your interpersonal and organisational skills will enable you to build good relationships at all levels.

With a degree, part qualified relevant professional qualification or demonstrable level of experience and continued development, you will be IT literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office. You will have previous experience of extensive, complex diary management, project management and liaison with senior professionals beyond your immediate employer and in support of the work of your employer, meeting tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. The successful candidate will have a commitment to maintain and enhance the high standards of customer care within the University.

Qualifications below degree level will be considered if applicants can demonstrate relevant experience and evidence of continuing professional development in an appropriate area of activity. This role is based at our Cambridge Campus, but candidates must be willing and able to travel between our Cambridge and Chelmsford campuses on a regular basis when required.
