We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Arborist to join our team covering Carlisle and the surrounding areas.

Our Role


Working as part of the Vegetation Management team you will be responsible for keeping the overhead electricity supply network clear of vegetation, much of this work will be done with the network energised using special live line techniques and equipment.

On other occasions it is necessary to make the network dead prior to completing the required cutting work.


Occasionally, it may be necessary to work some anti-social hours to assist your colleagues in the Engineering and Overhead Line Teams as they work to restore the electricity supplies to our customers following damaging winter storms.


We'd like to hear from you if you have;

  • Category B UK driving licence essential
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of safety in the work place essential
  • Demonstrate good communication skills essential
  • Demonstrate the ability to complete paperwork and use mobile apps essential
  • Be well organised, selfmotivated and be able to work as part of a teams essential
