Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to be a crucial part of the team within an educational institute? We're seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join an internal team.
Responsibilities
- To maintain and run the computerised payroll system.
- To collate all required information for new staff before their first payday.
- To input all payroll amendments.
- To process the BACS payroll file.
- To produce and distribute payslips in a timely manner.
- To produce P45's and file as required.
- To comply with all monthly tax, pension and National Insurance statutory reporting.
- To produce and submit Pension monthly returns.
- To ensure the timely payment of salary deductions to pension and statutory organisations.
- To file all payroll related paperwork on a monthly basis.
- To administer all pension schemes.
- To answer staff pay queries.
- To maintain individual SSP, SMP and SPP records.
- To liaise as appropriate with Government and Pension Offices.
- To assess employees for Auto Enrolment and administer as required.
- To carry out the payroll year-end.
- To comply with all tax, pension and National Insurance statutory year-end reporting.
- To produce P60's.
- To produce annual returns.
