Criminal Paralegal

SALARY:
25k - 30k

Responsibilities:

  • Legal Support: Assist our criminal law attorneys in various tasks, including legal research, document preparation, and case management.
  • Client Interaction: Develop professional relationships with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and addressing their inquiries.
  • Court Attendance: Accompany our legal team to court proceedings, hearings, and trials, gaining invaluable handson experience.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organised case files.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A strong desire to pursue a career in criminal law.
  • Ideally, completion of the LPC (Legal Practice Course) or BPC (Bar Professional Course) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when necessary.
  • Readiness to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges
