An excellent opportunity has arisen for a
Commodities Account Coordinator to join our Commodities team based at our Linwood site.

This is a full-time, permanent role.


Reporting to the Commodities Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for onboarding and management of customers, hauliers and suppliers relating to Fibre, Plastics, Wood and Metals.


Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:

  • Main point of contact for existing customers maximising revenue, volume and profits
  • Management of commodity rebates and POs
  • Creating and maintaining accounts and service agreements for new and existing customers
  • Update transport and customer tickets on system (Elemos) accurately and to agreed timescales
  • Add and amend customer accounts, service agreements, orders and prices
  • Complete new customer and supplier forms
  • Booking new jobs and adding manual customer jobs to the system
  • Weekly / Monthly reports for internal and external customers
  • Backtoback jobs processed for all customers
  • Weekly / Monthly invoicing
  • Booking 3rd party haulage and raising POs
  • Scrap administration including updating customer accounts, POs and reports monthly
  • Dealing with and resolving customer queries
  • Monitoring filing and storage of all historic tickets and paperwork
  • Participation and preparation in audits
  • Involvement in contracts/quotes for new business and customers/offtakes
  • Support an aid in Weekly/monthly forecasts against budget requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in administrative customer focused role desired
  • Confident user across all Microsoft Applications
  • Experience of Elemos system is desirable

Salary and Benefits:

  • Up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • 26 days and 4 statutory days holiday, increasing with service
