Primary Teacher required to teach small classes of Key Stage 2 children with SEMH needs.

Are you a QTS Primary Teacher looking for a new and rewarding challenge? This large Alternative Provision are looking to add a qualified Primary Teacher to the teamto teach small classes of children with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs, and challenging behaviours.

This school has fantastic facilities and a supportive leadership team who aim to make a difference each and every day.

As a Primary Teacher within this vibrant Alternative Provision you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that stretch and engage pupils who have become disengaged with education.

You will be supported by a minimum of 2 Teaching Assistantswho will help manage classroom behaviour, and will be working closely with the SENCO to ensure that the needs of pupils are met.

This role requires a QTS Primary Teacher with good behaviour management and a passion for working with additional needs.

Job Role:

  • Teaching small classes of KS2 children with SEMH needs
  • Reduced planning and marking responsibilities
  • Working with an outstanding team of Primary Teachers
  • Utilising support from experienced Teaching Assistants
  • Tracking and utilising pupil data and tailoring lessons to suit the individual needs of pupils
