DescriptionAs Paraplanner, you will be responsible for producing suitability reports for clients, carrying out technical research and analysis for the production of detailed client facing reports, making recommendations to advisers.

The collection, analysis and presentation of this data is carried out on behalf of its advisers.

The Paraplanner is also responsible for: Oversight of work carried out by administrators, writing reports whilst gaining a good understanding of the advisory process so they can challenge and influence to find the right solutionAnalysis of existing assets to identify improvement of client outcomes through offering of alternative productsDevelopment and addition to existing processes to improve efficiencies of the teamProviding analysis, detailed research of funds and providers, carry out calculations, build cashflow, report writing and product recommendations for presentation to clients and/or reports for sending to clientsEnsuring all advice provided is within the company's compliance frameworkProviding technical support for advisers and sales support teamsQuestioning and challenging proposed solutions by using financial planning knowledgeDrafting and trading workflows off the back of the recommendations being made in the suitability reportEnsuring quality assessments have been carried outUpdating on client and portfolio data is accurate in the systemManaging own workflow positions, committing to continuous personal development, and gaining a full understanding of procedures, and aware of any changes to compliance or other regulatory requirements are knownProfileThe successful applicant for this role must have the following skills and experience:Ideally diploma qualified (level 4), or those studying towards will also be consideredStrong knowledge of financial servicesExcellent understanding of financial products and data required by Paraplanners and advisers to analyse ongoing suitability for clientsAble to work independently, as well as part of a team, and also within defined business processesExcellent communication skills with ability to build relationships with stakeholdersAbility to produce detailed and accurate work all the timeStrong systems knowledge and understand of Microsoft Excel, Intelligent Office, FE AnalyticsJob OfferAs Paraplanner, you will get a marketing leading package which includes:Salary to £40,000 depending on experience/qualification levelGenerous holiday entitlement with option to buy additional daysBirthday offCompany pension schemeCommission structure based on hitting personal objectives, paid out twice a yearHealth insuranceDeath in serviceHybrid workingFlexible workingStudy support if requiredSocial events and recognition awards
