We are looking for someone who has patience, personality and perseverance to work under pressure within this role.

Role duties:

These include the following:

  • Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction, being friendly and polite at all times
  • Take customer orders and deliver food
  • Make menu recommendations, answer questions and provide information regarding food allergies
  • Effective communication skills and work well with others during busy periods
  • Upsell additional products when appropriate
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation
  • Carry dirty plates and glasses to kitchen for cleaning
  • Maintain a clean and sanitised work environment
  • Help with the clean down at the end of the day
  • Regularly perform stock checks and place new orders
  • Follow health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the catering industry
  • Hands on experience with cash register and ordering information system
  • Basic maths skills
  • Attentiveness and patience with customers
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform in a fastpaced environment
  • Punctual and maintain regular and consistent attendance
  • Contribute to a positive work environment
  • Must be able to work on weekends and bank holidays
