Shipping Clerk

Currently, we are looking for a Shipping Clerk- Export in a Shipping Department reporting to the Team Leader - Logistics, the position requires a flexible and self-motivated approach with a willingness to work as part of a small team.

About the job:

Preparing computerized dispatch invoices and checking documentation for accuracy Communicating with freight forwarders Filing of shipping documentation Liaising with the Print & Pack area to ensure the product is available for shipment Assisting other members of the team with shipping procedures Other clerical duties as required

About you:

Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths & English Language Previous experience working in an export shipping role Windows-based computer experience essential Experience working with an ERP system is an advantage although full training will be given Ability to work as part of a team, communicating & liaising effectively with other departments Ability to prioritize work in line with the peaks and troughs inherent in this type of role
