*Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting clients within their own homes
  • Ensuring clients are actively involved in activities within their own home or within their community
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with clients and their families
  • To offer choice and control in all areas of the client's life
  • Meeting the individual's daily needs and requirements in a kind, compassionate and patient manner
  • To assist clients where required which may involve assistance with; personal care, continence requirements, preparing snacks, regenerating meals and medication assistance.
  • Listening and talking to clients
  • Ensuring the health and safety of all clients
  • Understand each client's care hours within their home, and ensure you are supporting clients to reflect their care and support needs accordingly
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings
  • To ensure confidentiality is always maintained, in keeping with the Data Protection Act (DPA ensuring that clients personal details are not disclosed to any unauthorised person and all records are maintained within the DPA 1998 requirements
  • Fortnightly rolling rota, so you know what shifts you are working.
  • All areas are Zoned, working in the *Cardigan area and MaesMwldan.

  • Pay per hour is *£10.25 weekday. £10.75ph at weekend. 45p per mile* and travel time paid at *£9.50ph.
