The Role

If you join the internal development team, you'll work on a variety of business applications and e-commerce solutions. This team is crucial for the company's growth strategy, leveraging technology intelligently and efficiently. You'll be creating solutions that streamline the manufacturing and distribution process, integrating smoothly with e-commerce platforms to enhance order speed and accuracy from placement to delivery. Your tasks will involve PHP development and working with a mix of CAKE and Laravel frameworks. Collaboration with different teams within the company is key, from gathering requirements to designing, developing, and deploying solutions.

The Person

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

  • Strong communication and analytical abilities
  • Object-oriented development skills
  • Experience in PHP & relational databases like MySQL
  • Knowledge of MVC frameworks such as Laravel or CakePHP
  • Experience with building and using APIs
  • A genuine passion for programming
  • Keen interest in e-commerce and online retail
  • Ability to challenge current practices, think innovatively, and continuously seek efficiency improvements for the benefit of the team and the Company
  • Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN
