Due to the growth plans and expansion of the Lovell South Wales and South West of England region, we have a fantastic opportunity for a
Site Manager to join our New Build Operational Team at the Oakfield Project in Swindon.

This project was originally started by another contractor who left the site after going into administration.

Our client, Nationwide Building Society has engaged Lovell in order to complete the scheme and as Site Manager, you'll help us do this to a high level of finish.


As
Site Manager, you'll support the Senior Site Manager to ensure construction is completed safely, to specification, within agreed timescales and cost parameters as well as to Lovell quality standards.


You'll coordinate trades, direct labour and materials and assist the on-site construction team, ensuring it is fully resourced and well directed, with clear guidelines to their own job and responsibilities in terms of communication, training and development and organisation of site workload.

You'll complete weekly planning sheets, to ensure the overall build programme is met and undertake regular inspections, issuing defect sheets to relevant trades.


We'd like you to have extensive site management experience, with detailed knowledge of good trade practice, NHBC requirements and building regulations.

You'll also understand structural principles, road and sewer construction as well as environmental regulations.
