Breakfast Supervisor - New Opening - Cirencester, Gloucestershire

Location: THE PIG - and The Village Pub, Barnsley, Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

Salary: From £11.75 per hour, plus service charge.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Contract Type: Permanent

In January 2024, we acquired the 17th century Barnsley House hotel that is tucked away in the quintessential Cotswold's village of Barnsley, just four miles from Cirencester. THE PIG - and The Village Pub offers guests a classic example of an English country garden that evolves with the seasons including a kitchen garden that will supply the produce found on our 25-mile menu.

We are delighted to announce the start of our recruitment for THE PIG - and The Village Pub and are seeking a Breakfast Supervisor to oversee the effective operation of our breakfast service.

The Role:

As Breakfast Supervisor at THE PIG, you will need to be a real morning person who is reliable, committed, and available to work from the early morning. Playing a key part in the daily running of the restaurant, our Breakfast Supervisor will be on the restaurant floor, getting stuck in by serving our hotel guests whilst overseeing the efficiency of the team.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Take orders and serve food & beverages including teas & coffees.
• Organise and layout the breakfast buffet table.
• Understanding of dietary requirements.
• Oversee a small team, ensuring guests are afforded with a warm welcome and attentive service.
• Excellent communication with both the team and guests, having a caring & considered approach in all that you do.
• Lay tables, clean down and prepare the restaurant for lunch service.

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience working in similar role and environment is beneficial. We are seeking for Breakfast Supervisor who's committed to morning shifts, providing a positive, can-do attitudes and thriving from working in an attention to detailed environment.
