Job Overview:

Our client, a specialist injection moulding manufacturer, is seeking an Injection Moulding Setter to join their experienced production team.


Remit:

  • The Injection Moulding Setter will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of injection production according to production planning, company processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and work instructions.
  • Candidates must have proven experience in injection moulding manufacturing with strong mould setting and processing skills
  • This role is ideal for an Injection Moulding Setter keen on advancing their skills and progressing in the industry

Role:

  • Prepare, set up, and run jobs in the injection moulding department
  • Maintain machine operations at optimal cycle times for quality product output
  • Perform machinery tool changes, utilize programming software for efficient cycle times, and collaborate with the technical team
  • Conduct basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations in the work area and ensure safety of all individuals on-site

Experience Requirements:

  • Prior experience in injection moulding manufacturing
  • Possess formal injection moulding qualification from reputable industry bodies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in process optimization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices
