We're set right at the heart of the Scottish Borders and offer a great place to relax, unwind and magically shut off from the pressures of modern life.

We've been welcoming guests for well over 100 years but today is home to 132 bedrooms, 3 places to eat, 6 function spaces, leisure club, spa and oodles of outdoor space.


About the role

You'll lead a team of diverse instructors to promote the thrill and challenge of a wide range of land-based activities - rain, hail or shine.

You'll also lead groups in activities, corporate and leisure and assist with team training and quality assurance.

What we need from you:


Can you motivate and direct a team of diverse instructors to promote the thrill and challenge of a range of land-based activities - rain, hail or shine? Do you have leadership and management skills? Are you imaginative, dependable and organised? Are you a good communicator with all ages? Do you have a passion for customer service to make sure our guests have fun whist remaining safe at all times? If you've answered yes to all of the above then so far, so good.


You'll also have previous supervisory experience, a sound knowledge of Health Safety in working practices and experience of training staff.

An understanding of Revenue and Cost Management is also desirable. You'll be able to work flexible hours to meet business and customer needs.

Peebles Hydro:

Another Hydro, but it's not like Crieff.

Peebles Hydro has 132 bedrooms and like many of her rooms, is firmly focused on the outdoors and making the most of what's on the doorstep.

Kids activities might send them back a little muddy but they'll love meeting our bees, hens and chickens and can even learn to build a proper woodland den.

Hire bikes from us and take in a gentle cycle or race down the trails at Glentress. Opt for a potter along the High Street and getting familiar with locally produced food and drink.
