Simpsons Malt is one of the UK's biggest malting companies with 150+ years of successful supply to brewers and distillers with a customer range from the smallest craft and microbrewers to multi-nationals in the UK and around the world, and we are now proudly B-Corp accredited.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us for the harvest season, during the period from July to October.

We are looking to employ a keen person to help us perform pre harvest preparation and assist with intake during the harvest period.


Basic job details are as follows:

  • Work duties will include tipping of lorries into correct intake bins, grain drying, and assisting with the storage of grain bulks. General site housekeeping and hygiene to meet company policies.
  • Monday to Friday, 7am7pm, with weekend shifts once intake has started.

Key requirements:

  • Flexibility with working hours.
  • Basic computer skills, especially when programming equipment and ensuring machine controls are set correctly.
  • Reliable and selfmotivated.
  • Good team player.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Be able to work without supervision.
