Permanent, fixed term contract, temporary and sponsorship opportunities

  • Machine startup, setup and programme selection
  • Tool selection, cleaning & setup
  • Reading of Engineering Drawings
  • Inspection parts prior to next operation
  • Completion of batch cards.
  • Identication of maintenance concerns & first level resolution.
  • Work in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines including keeping work area and machine clean and tidy.
  • Responsible for using and keeping in good condition P.P.E.equipment supplied.
  • Understand the need & work within the Company's flexible working patterns.
  • Understand & respond to the quality & process feedback system
  • Advise when Tooling is damaged or worn out and needs replacing.
  • Meet quality & production targets as set by the area Supervisor.
  • Keeping themselves & others safe at all times

Essential Criteria

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths
  • General Fabrication and sheetmetal experience
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills. The ability to read engineering drawings
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually as and when required A good level of common sense & attention to detail
  • Must be able to understand & communicate effectively in English both written & verbal.
