Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will support the organisation and work closely with all areas of the business to ensure invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
The accounts payable team are integral to the business and often the main point of contact for our suppliers and guests with regard to invoicing.
A keen eye for detail, problem solving skills and excellent, professional communication skills will be a key requirement for this role.

- Paying suppliers accurately and on time.
- Providing first class customer service by responding to all internal and external queries in a polite, professional, and timely manner.
- Accurate recording, posting and reconciliation of all payments and transactions, ensuring the general ledger is kept up to date and complete, including recording of all relevant accruals and prepayments.
- Preparing and posting journals in the general ledger, including the monthly payroll journal.
- Ensure all invoices are approved in compliance with internal authorisation procedures and proactively chase missing approvals in the workflow.
- Prepare payment runs, ensuring invoices are paid within agreed supplier payment terms, loading payments to the bank, and ensuring all documentation is complete and filed appropriately following full signoff.
- Post bank receipts and payments, preparing full bank reconciliations in accordance with internal procedures.
- Reconciling company credit card accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies, receipts provided, and transactions posted accurately to the general ledger.
- Reviewing staff expenses and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills with experience in a similar role.
- AAT level 2 or equivalent qualification.
- Strong data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration and a strong work ethic.
- Diplomacy, discretion, and tact, particularly when dealing with confidential information, celebrities, politicians, and highprofile global stakeholders.
- Motivation to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge of Xero would be a benefit.
