Nutrix Personnel is a leading provider of complex care services for children with diverse medical needs. We are currently seeking a skilled Complex Care Paediatric Nurse to join us in delivering exceptional care within the comfort of our patients' homes. This is a full-time, permanent position covering both days and nights, offered on a contract basis with hourly rates starting from £45 and above.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to paediatric patients with complex medical needs in their homes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient progress and condition, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate and support patients and their families on medical procedures, equipment, and management of conditions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with valid NMC registration.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in paediatric nursing, preferably in complex care settings.
- Demonstrated clinical skills and knowledge of paediatric medical conditions and treatments.
- Experience in ventilation and tracheostomy care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts as required.
