Brilliant opportunity to join a leading business within their field, with a supportive and encouraging team.

You will be a key part of the design team, developing and maintaining relationships with customers, designers, contractors and target groups.

You will be translating enquires into designs and specifications, ensuring a solution fit for purpose.

Responsibilities

Translate enquiries into designs/specifications, ensuring the solution is fit for purpose and considering the business product range.
Provide technical, estimating, costing and commercial assistance to internal teams.
To advise customers on the use and applications of products, securing customer and project details.
Build relationships with customers, providing technical product knowledge and information whilst managing expectations.
Provide advice in relation to layouts, specifications, and materials.
In-putting enquires into the CRM and creating formal specification proposals when required.
Create and review technical drawing contracts.
Manage and maintain multiple enquires, delegating as required and ensuing response in a timely and accurate manner.

Skills & Attributes Needed:
Previous design experience in either a work or educational environment.
IT literate including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Experience and knowledge of CRM systems
Use of AutoCAD, Solidworks and Inventor (not essential)
Demonstrates time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Work as a team, being open to advice and collaboration.
Good presentation and organisational skills.
Tenacity in dealing with customers, demonstrating an excellent service.
High attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the desire to achieve goals and company aspirations.
Adhere to company health and safety requirements and safe working practices.
Conduct themselves in a professional manner and maintains confidentiality.
Full UK driving licence.
